Munich Weekend

Here is my Munich Trip. It was a two day weekend wherein I had to leave Saturday morning instead of Friday night as I wished to (long story). Well I slept through my first train, but I eventually made it to Munich that afternoon. I started this time in Munich by checking into my hotel. Then I went down town to the main old square and walked toward the English gardens. I found the gay pride parade again and this time in Munich. I was impressed with the English garden. The English garden is a very large park that has waterfalls and a river going through it. I might like it better than Central Park in NY. Around dinner time I came across a beer garden in the park where there was live music and the food and beer was done by HB. I then walked back toward the center of town where I found a guy surfing in the river. The next day I visited the Technology museum. The nerd factor of this place is extremely high. I didn’t have enough time there. It had stuff from chemical, mechanical, electrical engineering, to musical instruments to bridges, engines, computers, pharmaceuticals and so much more. It was neat for the kids they had little chemical experiments wherein you pushed a button and it would drop some chemicals in a test tube and you could see what happens. After the museum I walked around the town and then went to the HB to see what it was all about. Overall I really like Munich. It has been one of my favorite cities to visit this summer.
