Lucerne 6-12 to 6-14
This weekend I decided to travel to Switzerland. I picked a random spot on the map and looked it up online and it looked interesting. So I went to Lucerne Switzerland. I had to get up early to walk to the train station. I only had to make one connection which was in Basel. Upon exiting the train station in Lucerne, I saw Lake Lucerne and the mountains surrounding it. It is a very beautiful area. I spent a little while walking around the lake and then I went to find my hotel. I dropped my luggage at the hotel and walked around the old part of town. The old section was interesting, but there were lots of people and it felt more of a shopping area. That evening I bought some Swiss cheese to put in my Salami sandwich and some Swiss chocolate for dessert. I was able to find a live concert by the lake wherein I ate my dinner and listened to the music. My hotel room was very nice. I had a large patio that looked out onto the old mid evil part of town. You could see the mid evil towers. The breakfast that was included at the hotel was very nice. You could have scrambled or fried eggs, different types of yogurt with lots of toppings, breads, juices, and fresh fruits. I really enjoyed the breakfast oh and it came with espresso coffee. The next day I got up early and took the train to Lungern where had to walk for 30 minutes to a cable car which took me up to Schonbuel. It was beautiful in Schonbuel, you could hike around and see the different peaks all around. I spent almost all day there. On my last day I just walked around the town and lake before catching my train back to Metz.
